Mercure Montpellier Centre Comédie

I had a good stay at this centrally located hotel, easily accessible after a brief orientation and a few stairs. The staff were friendly and helpful, both at the reception and in the breakfast area. While the restaurant’s opening hours might vary during the week (evenings), I appreciated the options nearby. Rooms near the driveway or smoking area may experience more noise if sensible, but the good windows effectively block out disturbances at night. Overall, the hotel was clean and inviting, though I did miss some cozy amenities like body lotion. A great choice for a relaxed stay!

The proximity of the hotel to all the sights and shops/bars/restaurants was very convenient and at the same time was remarkably quiet during the night. The car park was useful though there is a charge for it. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good location close to Comédie square and the old town and the station. Clean room, small gym, all amenities you need.

Location good, relatively easy to find, clean and tidy would return

I was upgraded to a Prestige room, possibly due to my negative comments a month ago, when I also stayed overnight before a hospital appointment! The difference between a standard room (and various small problems therein) and the Prestige room was enormous! I appreciated the difference, especially the bathroom with walk-in shower!
